As a business we are very aware of the affect we could have on the natural environment, particularly are we are based in the most rural of locations.
We have a strict policy on ‘leftovers’ from campaigns and will arrange the speedy return of these items to our clients, or if required for them to be recycled.
Cardboard – ALL cardboard waste is recycled in 1 of 3 ways, we re-use good quality boxes to send out orders for our fulfilment clients, we have a machine onsite that allows us to turn boxes that are not suitable for order packing into excellent padding and *packaging for the orders we are despatching and for anything that we cannot use, it is collected and taken to reputable paper mills.
Polythene – ALL polythene waste is collected by reputable companies to be recycled.
We also offer a biodegradable polythene option for those companies that wish to use it.
Paper – Where it is safe to shred and use paper for packaging materials (and horse bedding!) we do, all other paper waste again is taken to the mills for recycling.
Printer Cartridges - These are taken for recycling from the industrial size cartridges to desktop and we only purchase recycled product where we can.
We have an incinerator on site which we not only use to dispose of suitable waste, we also use it to heat the workplace, keeping the use of oil and electricity to a minimum and keeping the workforce warm!
*Packaging - our in-house produced cardboard packaging is an excellent alternative as a packing material (and is sold at a very reasonable cost), please refer to warehousing, fulfilment and distribution for more information, or contact:
Mr Steve Jones, Warehouse Manager on 01948 831000.
