Fulfilment Overview
The Right Sort Mailing Company can offer a complete order fulfilment service from handling calls and receipt of orders by any means, handling payments to the picking, packing and despatch of goods whilst constantly monitoring product availability, managing stock and the storage of product.
Poor management of order processing and stock management can result in alienating your customers and could result in lost business. Expectations of consumers these days far exceed those of yesteryear and accuracy and turnaround times are paramount to repeat business.
Our customers are kept informed electronically, as required, of purchases, order values and stock levels enabling easy management of their stock and their customers are kept satisfied with timely and accurate despatch of their orders.
Storage and despatch of promotional/corporate items
This is a straight forward stock management and despatch service. We hold the relevant stock that you need to be sent out for corporate sponsorship, events and one off campaigns.
We send out anything from collection tins to pin badges, sponsor packs to delegate bags! Again this is managed using a simple database system that allows you monitor despatches and stock in the same way as the other fulfilment databases work.
We can also deal directly with your sponsors/supporters using our call centre, so a direct communication reducing the risk of error which is reported back to you on a weekly basis via our reporting options from the database.
Ongoing product fulfilment
Usually a mail order requirement and very much the same as the Christmas card fulfilment but often products rather than just cards. This can be a daily need, or just for seasonal campaigns.
Warehousing and Distribution
A service for larger or multiple consignments
Storage – Many businesses struggle to find space for stock and if space is available, the cost of renting that space can be a drain on valuable funds.
We have a simple pricing structure for pallet storage, we charge a fixed rate of £10.00 per pallet, per month plus you will need to have the goods insured either via your own insurance or via our own (which is not expensive).
Goods are securely stored with in site CCTV, alarmed buildings and an onsite guard. You may have access to them within a 24 hour notice period.
Volume despatch of goods to destination – this is typically handling the receipt of the goods, the storage and ultimately the despatch of those goods to the relevant destination, be it retail, (including multiple addresses) or another warehouse.
This is handled by using a database system that allows us to:
- Book in deliveries
- Assign stock to a warehouse position
- Generate a goods received note
- Import despatch and delivery requirements
- Generate delivery documentation/pick notes
- Stock control
- Recording of damages
We handle daily, weekly and monthly despatch requirements to any number of outlets and due to the high level of parcels despatched, can offer very competitive next day delivery charges as well as excellent rates for pallet despatch via a local haulier.
Packing Materials
For smaller items we tend to use mail lite bags in a range of sizes, certainly for Christmas cards and such like products but for larger items we recycle existing packaging where we can.
The boxes that the mailing inserts come in can often make excellent boxes for packaging goods, coupled with additional padding which we make in house* we ensure that goods arrive in first class condition on arrival.
*In house packaging - our cardboard product is an excellent alternative to polystyrene products, shredded paper (less dust) and pretty much most other alternatives. It is particularly good for heavier items that need lots of protection and padding in a box to allow the safe passage of goods through the courier or mail services.
